Rose petals are beautiful and romantic, especially when you can use them in your ceremony or reception. They look great scattered down the aisle at your ceremony or in neat lines on either side of the aisle. A lot of venues don’t allow rose petals, especially churches, as they stain carpet when stepped on. Eco-friendly, non-slippery and non-staining rose petals are now available through a company called flyboynaturals from the States. These rose petals also last a long time, much longer than traditional rose petals and you can use them in most venues that currently don’t allow rose petals because they won’t stain carpet and other flooring like hardwood and laminate.
Below are some other ideas to incorporate rose petals into your wedding.
1. Petal Table Decorations – Add rose petals around the centerpieces, cover the head table and/or place them around the cake.
2. Include 5-10 rose petals in your invitations or thank-you cards.
3. Include rose petals on the tray used to serve champagne service.
These are just a few great ideas on how you can make your wedding more romantic and elegant by using rose petals.
